King Power Mahanakhon is a striking mixed use skyscraper located in Bangkok’s Silom/Sathon central business district, famous for its iconic “pixelated” or Lego-like spiral design.
The tower stands 314.2 meters (1,031 feet), it is one of Thailand’s tallest buildings.
The Mahanakhon Skywalk is located on 74th and 78th floors, it has 360 degree open air observation deck.
The glass floor is situated at 310 meters high offering a direct view of the streets below. The glass floor is great for getting photos and not for the faint hearted. This was pretty epic and the views from the open air observation deck are stunning, such a huge sprawling city.
The Multimedia elevators were very cool and offered a speedy 50 second ride to the 74th floor.
Cost to enter is THB 1,000($40AUD) for entry between 10:30am – 3:30pm Sunset is THB1,200($48AUD).
TIP: Go on a clear day or try the evening session to catch the sunset.
